In my home, I have many electrical appliances that use a lot of electricity, and in this post, I will just share with you the two of the electrical appliances that consume the most electricity in my home which often makes me to be spending more money on electricity.

What are two electrical appliances in your home that use a lot of electricity? Explain with original pictures.

In my home, the two electrical appliances that use a lot of electricity are:

  • Electric cooker (hot plate)
  • Refrigerator

The above are the two electrical appliances that use a lot of electricity in my home.

The electrical cooler (hot plate) is what I often use in cooking whenever there's an electric light in my home I make use of the electric cooker to save on the cost of buying gas which has been helpful to me. This electric cooker is an old electric cooker that has served me for many years now. It works very well and it consumes a lot of electricity in my home. The electric cooker doesn't work perfectly when there is low current, but it works perfectly when the light is full current.

As for the refrigerator I consume a lot of electricity in my home because I often leave it on for whatever is inside not to get spoiled. I do out foods inside the refrigerator and fruits and water inside the fridge and leave it on whenever it's full current consume a lot of electricity in my home which I only switch off when the things inside has block that is turn to ice.

What two methods do you use to reduce electricity consumption? Show at least one practical method with a selfie.

The two methods that I do use to reduce electricity consumption are switching off the electric cooker immediately after I have used it or whenever there is low current.

Sometimes I don't use both at once to reduce electricity consumption. As you can see in the image I had switched off the electric cooker after preparing dinner and then went and turned on the refrigerator.

Have the two methods you use to reduce electricity consumption resulted in a reduction in your electricity bill or not? Explain

Yes, the two methods used to reduce electricity consumption have resulted in a reduction in my electricity voltage but not in my electricity bill because my home doesn't use a meter. In my home, my neighbours and I are using direct light and not meters, so our electricity bill is sometimes not fixed and it is not calculated based on consumption usage.

What is the easiest habit for you to save electricity?

The easiest habit for me to save electricity is by applying these strategies:

  • Switching off bulbs, fans, and all electrical appliances when I am not at home.
  • When I am at home do switch off my bulbs during the day and turn them on at night.
  • Monitor my metre usage like when I was using the metre.
  • I don't use electrical appliances like refrigerators, an electric iron, and an electric cooker at once.

What advice would you give to others to save electricity so that they can reduce their electricity bill and save money?

The best way we can lower monthly electricity bills and save money for other things is by practicing these daily habits at home.

  • Turn off appliances when not in use. If you're at home and you're not using any of your electrical appliances switch them off when leaving home.

  • Use energy saving build like LEDs that last longer.

  • Unplug devices even when they're turned off

  • Make use of natural light and ventilation by opening your windows and curtains during the day instead of using lights and fans all the time.

Switching off bulbs, fans, and all electrical appliances when we are not at home is a wise decision for save electricity. It is our responsibility to save electricity for the nation. Good luck my friend.

Thanks for your support.

Saludos amigo.

Yes you're right and thanks for your support.

You have explained this very clearly. Switching off the appliances while youre not home is a very good idea. I wish you all the best. Good day!

Thanks for your support

¡Holaaa amigo!🤗

It's great to turn off one device and turn on another. This will undoubtedly save some electricity bills. You have gifted the post with excellent examples. Thanks for sharing the post.

Exactly and thanks for your support.

Mostly, ref is one of the appliance that gives the most high energy consumption in the house, even in your house but anyway, thanks for your tips.
