Steeming in Kananaskis Country! Photos and more!!

Was a Beautiful Sunny day just west of Calgary, Canada and after a long winter, the plus temperatures and wonderful surroundings.........we're a breath of fresh air!

Found this frozen river bed and made a little steem art! As well, I took some photos form the Journey! Here is some of the best of them!

In this photo above you can see the frozen blue river at the center left. The river was frozen solid, so I felt safe to walk on the ice!

A new growth forest! I'm not sure the last time that it burnt in this area, but the trees are somewhere a little over a 100 years old if I were to guess.

This Cottonwood is a couple weeks for budding, as spring is starting to melt the heavy snow pack here in Alberta's Rockie Mountains.

You can hear and see the rocks fall from this Rocky face and the spring thaw begins to take effect!

Rocks with trees on the tops, as far as the eye can see!

Wind sculpted snow at the bottom of this photo was awesome to see!

The blue of the frozen water was incredible!
