SHAPING UP TO BE FIT

In government service, we are expected to be fit in order that we can effectively and efficiently respond to the needs of the public. We are entrusted by the people with their aspirations to be realized believing that we have the capacity to do so. That is the very reason why we need to shape ourselves up to be physically healthy.

One of the programs that we have in the local government is our wellness program. Before we are having this fun run encouraging all employees to participate in zumba, in sports activities every Friday afternoon or to do jogging every morning. I do love it since I really dreamed to slim down.

It was effective really, to jog every morning with the 5 kilometer route. I lose weight from 67 to 55 in just two months. However, because of the hectic schedule added to the absence of my househelp, I was able to stop jogging.
