The ends never justify the means. By definition. But, that is another post.

I do not consider sins an immoral act, but that is because we are using the word in two different ways.

Its like having a baby. 100 years ago it was really bad to be pregnant without having a husband. Very immoral. But, it was not, in my definition a sin.

I watch people cut themselves up all the time.
Is it right / wrong for them to cut themselves up?

Well, the modern concept of morality is more social than human. The question then exists: What is inhuman? For we are all but animals with big brains in the end.
