SLC S21W5 / Crochet designs; cell phone case.

It another new week with new learning challenges. Time is really flying, we now reached season 21 week 5 of steemit learning challenge. After digesting my teacher's explanations and videos on how to create a cell phone case, I was motivated to submit my homework task for the week. Please read my opinions below.

Friends of mine are aware that I am passionate for making any crochet designs - like the cell phone case. I really enjoyed making it because all the steps are what we were taught and trained on how to carry out. Let me say even that they are knitted with basic crochet stitches.

Material needed.
Below is the only available yarn in my house and I decided to combine.

• Sea Green Yarn
• Orange colour yarn
• Needle
• Scissor.

In my base making, I start with creating a chain ⛓️. l see that alot in crochet design. Making chain is one of the best way to start knitting and this is what we learnt in our Frist crochet class . I made a 25 chain stitch because that is the width of my phone.. Oppo A 18 which not too wide.

After making a chain I continued the base making a double crochet, I added four chains to it and on the fourth stitch, I made three double crochet stitches in the same stitch to form a beautiful curve edge.

I moved from there and continue with the double crochet in all the stitches till the I reached end of the chain then on this last stitch, I gradually added 6 double crochets in the same stitch to round the base, remembering that we are making a case, so I continued making double crochet in each chain till the last part.

At this end, I also make another three double crochet, as to equalise my stitch Conner. I closed it with a slip stitch. Check the out come below.

From the above picture you can see that, I completed my base making, Now I want to continue in making the required design in this week crochet.

I started with making 3 double crochet on the same stitch, I skipped two chains and made a single crochet on the third stitch.
I also remember to skipped another two stitches and made five double crochet stitches in the third stitch. I gradually repeated the sequence and closed with a slip stitch.Now use one minute of your time to examine the work. I feel it would looks good 👍🏽.

I continued with the sequence explained above in the next row, which made 5 double crochet, skipped 2 stitch and on the 3 stitches I made a single crochet and skipped another 2 stitches and continue with 5 double crochet till the end.

At this point, I kept my camera off while continuing the work till the below level.

It took me about 7hour to knit up to this level. One thing I see in the knitting is that, lf you loss concentration and mistakenly remove stitch the whole sequences look back and you have to loss it and start the sequence.

I really enjoyed knitting it gently and tasting if it has covered my cell phone.

This is the final level. You can see that it has covered my cell phone. I was extremely excited to complete this task.

For my cell phone decoration, I decided to use a simple Rose on the Body and a thin flap from back to front. So I crochet my cord and the simple Rose,we have already learn how to do this, as such I did fine it difficult to carry it out.

I was truly satisfied at least,I have achieved crochet learning and I enjoy doing it.
