The ideal sleep time for adults is about 7-9 hours per night. Sometimes a person has had enough sleep but it is still easy to feel sleepy afterward. Obstructive sleep apnea causes sufferers to periodically wake up at night so they don't get good quality sleep. As a result, excessive sleepiness appears during the day. This is what causes them to always wake up late even though they have slept for 7 to 8 hours. It is highly recommended to consume vegetables and fruits that contain vitamin D. Here are vegetables and fruits that are high in vitamin D such as oranges, mushrooms, kiwi, broccoli, spinach, bananas and soybeans. Although filling and rich in nutrients, eating bananas on an empty stomach is not recommended. This can cause blood sugar spikes and mid-morning crashes, especially in people with diabetes. Another effect of eating bananas on an empty stomach is that it makes you hungry so you eat more. This can trigger a person to fall asleep easily. Sources of vitamin D are also found in various types of marine fish, fish oil, salmon, tuna, milk and their processed products, mushrooms, liver, and egg yolks.
