Yes, that's exactly when I started visiting orphanages...

A temporary rehabilitation center for orphans...
It took me a long time to recover from that first experience...
Emotionally, it was very difficult...
Ladies who were also visiting orphanages for the first time joined me on subsequent trips...
They were literally crying...
Although, this was strictly forbidden, so as not to harm the psyche of the children who were abandoned like objects...
I probably wouldn't have remembered that 10 years had passed...
It's just that the girls from the support group reminded me of this on social media today...

There really is a lot to remember...
Master classes, socializing, gifts, fireworks, cooking porridge over a campfire, trips to bowling alleys or movie theaters, zoos, botanical gardens...
All in all, there really are so many memories, and I hope it wasn't all in vain...

There's a short pause now, because all the attention is on the military conflict...
The children were evacuated almost immediately, and there are no orphans or children with disabilities here...
Either in western Ukraine or abroad...
They're not sharing their whereabouts much, for security reasons...
Well, that's how it is...
We believe, hope, and wait that we'll suddenly gather again someday, but under peaceful skies and...
And we'll continue to help orphans and children with disabilities for another 100 years!
