Hey Steemians,

So I am running around for another Rugby season this year, definitely starting to feel slower, weaker, less powerful and i wasnt really that blessed with those things in the first place. I still love the adrenaline i get before running on the field though, scoring a try, enjoying a win with a few or 10 beers after the game. I'm not sure i will ever fully get it out of my system but i know its coming to an end. This is post for all the weekend warriors out there still going hard in there chosen sport, keep going guys and remember you are a long time retired.

If you enjoyed my post feel free to throw an upvote this way and comment, always good to connect with other steemians.

Move to prop and get 20 more years ;)

You never get it out of your system. I still have rugby dreams and I'm a long time retired.

You know it's time when the injuries start to pile up as your body is telling you it's had enough. In my last season I think I had 5 injuries that caused me time on the sideline. More time off the field than on it. So if your body is holding up ok then keep going!
