Egg is a common ingredient in many desserts, that is used as a binder, leavening agent, and adding moisture and richness. They're often used in custards, creams, and cakes.Flan, egg custard, meringue and tiramisu are some popular examples of egg desserts.

Why eggs are added in desserts?? What kind of texture they give?.

The primary reason while egg is added to dessert for moisturising. Remember egg add richness to the dessert like cakes, custard and other pudding. Egg help to set texture and egg yolks help mix and stabilize fat and water based ingredients creating smooth texture.

The following are dessert that egg can be used, cakes, puddings, pancakes, and there is also custard. Egg is used in almost all types of sweets, and using eggs makes any of our dessert recipes very delicious.

Make any recipes that you like most from eggs or gelatin, with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images.

Ingredients

  • Milk 200ml
  • Eggs 2
  • Sugar for pudding 1 tbsp
  • Sugar for caramel topping 5 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

In preparation of my egg dessert, I start by Add 200ml of milk into a clean dry pan.

The next step with adding of 1tbsp of sugar and vanilla essence in it and whisk it well.

I add the beaten mixture in clean mold , cook it on double boiler (take a pan with water ,put your mixture mold in it. I cover the mold with lid or aluminium paper and heat it up for 30 -40min.

When my flan is sets, I take out the mold from pan and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours . Take out flan from mold. I topped it with caramel sauce and served it cool.

Do you face any difficulty during making this recipe.

In preparation of my dessert, I did not experience any difficulties because I followed my teacher's instruction on how to do it tactfully.

To make new things, it is advisable to abide by the rules and instructions given. Using the same measurements will help attend to a pleasing results. My first time of Making egg desserts turn out excellent and am excited about that.

Reading this contest,I was curious thinking of outcome but after that preparation, It was 100 % delicious.

What are nutritious benefits of your dessert?

Egg has lost a nutritional benefits, consumption of egg at least once daily is highly recommended. We all know that egg is a good source of protein which is essential for our muscle growth and repair. It also contains vitamin like riboflavin, vitamin D and B12.

Egg also have mineral and iron contains. Although egg dessert is good for consumptions,it is advisable to consumed it in moderation due to sugar and calories content.
