Hola, soy @sadik2008
What kind of City Landmark Zone have you visited? Briefly introduce it. |
Our Saidpur Upazila was created by the British. Saidpur Upazila was formed in Nilphamari district during the British rule. There is a railway factory in Saidpur city. It is spread over a very large area. There is also a small railway station in Saidpur. The place of worship for Christians is church located next to it. Many Christians worked in the Saidpur Railway Factory. They lived in Saidpur city. They were here. But there was no place of worship for them. So the British built a church next to the Saidpur Railway Station. In 1886, the British built a church next to the station in Saidpur for their religious worship. It was a Roman Catholic Church. This church is the first and oldest church in the northern region.

How were the services and history both inside and outside? (With pictures + prices, videos) |
In 1886, the British built a church next to the station in Saidpur for their religious worship. It was a Roman Catholic Church. This church is the first and oldest church in the northern region. After the construction of the old church and priest's building of Saidpur, the Sisters of the Sisters of Charity community came to this place. There are still many Sisters in Saidpur city. They built a school in our area. This school is called *Saint Jerosa. Since then, many Christian children and children of other religions also study in that school. Many British people came to our Saidpur city around the railway factory. They started living in Saidpur city. Since they were living here. And they did not have any place of worship. So they may have built two places of worship in the city. One of them is next to the saidpur factory gate. Another is next to the board station. The architecture and construction style of these churches fascinates every visitor. The atmosphere inside and outside of them is very good. If you know someone, you can enter the church and take pictures. And you can learn about different things. Since we did not have any people we knew. So we took some pictures and videos from outside the church. Looking from the outside, you can see how beautifully the church was built. This church is spread over many areas.

My house is in Notunbabu Para. It takes me 10 minutes to go to that church from our house. The rickshaw fare from our house is 30 taka. I went there in the afternoon. I went to that place. I saw the church from the outside. The church is located in many places. Many sisters still live in this church. They can be seen sometimes. The church is closed because it is currently on Eid holidays. You have to take permission in advance to enter. Since I did not have permission, I could not enter. Just by looking at the construction work outside this church, you can understand how beautiful it must be inside. This is an old church in our area. It is also an old church in North Bengal. It was built in 1886. It was the first one built in North Bengal.
