Weekly Contest 56 || The Diary Game || From waking to the songs of beautiful birds to spending more time in the hospital
Hello my fellow steemians, how are you doing today? I believe that good things are coming your way and you'll be happier. Today I'll love to share with you how I spent my day and I'll try to make you picture it in the clearest way possible.
Morning
My day started from the very moment I opened my eyes in the morning and found out that I had woken up to the sound of birds on the outside of my bedroom window.
I stared at my window for a few seconds and looked away, turning my body on my bed to face the wall. I didn't want to be awoken with the bright light of the day flooding into my eyes. I wished to sleep more as today was my day off at my working place but the sleep was not forthcoming. After the fruitless effort to conjure sleep to come carry me, I decided it's best to start cooking and stop wasting my precious time.
When I was done cooking, I went into my bathroom and started to shower. At first when the droplets of water started falling on me it gave me a different feeling but almost immediately my body adjusted to it.
When I was done bathing, I went and brushed my teeth almost immediately and returned back to my bedroom. I dished out some food, ate and I dressed up and made sure everything was in order before I carried my bag and left my house.
On my way out I decided to check my bag to make sure I had my hospital paper card with me as well as the smart card.
I boarded a taxi and arrived at the hospital, stepped in and walked straight to the section where I would get my clearance. After they attended to me, I went to another section where I had been directed. There I waited for a while until it was my turn to see the doctor. My meeting with the doctor was a good one. He's a specialist on the human ear, an Otolaryngologist.
In the Afternoon
When it was my turn, I was called on. As I stepped into his office, the first thing I did was greet him. It was a warm greeting and he responded with the same energy.
He asked me several questions which I carefully answered. He also gave me the time to carefully narrate all that needed to be said in order to help him know the kind of treatment I need or not or maybe just observation.
When I was done he picked some of his equipment and made some physical observations. After that he prescribed some drugs for me and an x-ray scan.
Finally I thanked him and left his office, then walked straight to the pharmacy where I got to know the cost of everything he listed out. Finally I got all the drugs prescribed and headed to another department (radiology unit) in the hospital for the scan.
I spent more than five hours in the hospital, most of the time was spent waiting and you can imagine what it feels like. I don't know if it's best to say it was a stressful day but the ventilation in all the different departments I was referred to was good which aided in comfort.
In the Evening
When I got all I needed it was already close to 4 o'clock in the afternoon and I journeyed back home. I was on the vehicle driving on the road till evening came because it was a very long distance and I stayed at home for the rest of the day. The first thing I did when I got home was to undress, send my bag and clothes flying to where I wanted to drop them. I later arranged them and kept them where I wanted them to be, then I laid down on my bed because I was so tired. I later ate.
I first went to the market where I bought fresh veggies and all the necessary ingredients I needed to prepare my stew just the way I wanted it. I prepared the beautiful stew and used it to eat rice. I never believed I could finish just that size of food but I figured out a hungry man can sometimes have the power to demolish mountains of food.
I want to specially thank @m-fdo who had spent quality time in preparing and organising this week's amazing contest. I'm grateful, thanks for this wonderful opportunity.
To add more colour to this contest, I'm honourably inviting,

MODs Comment/Recommendation:
Thanks for sharing your post with us. Your post would have been perfect, but you used one picture in a diary game post and it's not even arranged well. The tags are misplaced. I think you need to be work on this again if you want to get votes in your post.
