SEC-S30W3: Family Bonding Activities
It's another week of bonding with my family; the essence of this challenge cannot be overlooked because many families are deprived of this connection because of circumstances beyond their control. I'm lucky to come from a family that doesn't joke about having time with us.
Your family must choose any one from the above listed activities and mention which one you have chosen what it is all about.
My family picked biking. Here we used age-appropriate bicycles so that we could ride well without injury. With our bicycles ready, we paddle the pedals to move the bicycle. This biking helped us to strengthen our muscles and our heartbeat.
This biking is all about using bicycle to carry out physical exercise.
• How did you do it? Explain in details. Who did what, who won and who lost in case of games?
I was leading
We set a target that we will reach, and the first person to get there wins; since they are younger, I allowed them to go first. My son started riding second to my daughter; when I joined, I still got there before them. Of course I won, but I didn't want them to feel bad; I congratulated them for accepting the biking with me. My daughter came last.
• What are the challenges of getting everyone together to do this activity together

This biking is one of our favorite exercises. Since today is a public holiday and everyone is at home, we made use of the time that we are all free. So I can say that we had no challenge of coming together. Hence, it was only school time that would have been a challenge.
• What are the gains and how did it benefit your family
This biking helped us to connect more to each other, thereby bringing teamwork in order to achieve a goal of winning.Since biking is part of exercise, it helps us to reduce obesity and maintain a healthy lifestyle.Biking together gives everyone the sense of belonging without feeling inferior or less in the family.This exercise helps us to be in a happy mood with each other.
• Who in the family greatly enjoyed this activity and why?
My son enjoyed this game the most because he has his skills of riding the bike. He can speed and control the brake professionally, making sure he avoids dangers that will make him fall off.He knows how to position his body when there's a bend or potholes.He has got the strength to ride the bicycle without resting.He has the knowledge to fix minor things such as the chain removal.

This is a beautiful post about family bonding. Your choice is excellent, It is more than 15 year ago now I have not ride bicycle, It's wonderful to see how much you value spending quality time together and making the most of a shared vacation.
I always told my friends then that Cycling is not only for fun but also for improving heart health and strengthening muscles and free the whole body. The seriousness and smile from your children faces show that they really enjoyed activities.

Very lovely moments with your kids. Moments like this is very rare especially in a busy world we live now. Parents hardly have time to communicate with their kids let alone cycling with them.

Biking or bike racing is one of exercises that I love so much until one day I was doing competition in Calabar to be precise golf estate and unknown to me that car was coming and couldn't control the speed limit and I fell inside gutter badly injured and I was like wahoo, the result of riding is here 🤣🤣😘, Bike racing create a special bond especially when it is done among family members.
