Bustling Bangkok | Part 12 | Chocolate Ville

in Steem Sri Lanka2 months ago

During our vacation, we spent seven days in Bangkok. I’m going to split our time in Bangkok into multiple parts to cover a wide range of information about the places we visited, the modes of transportation we used, and the costs involved.

In this twelfth chapter, I’ll share our final and most remarkable stop Chocolate Ville.

Today, I’m going to share about our last and most remarkable stop in Bangkok. I first discovered this place on TikTok and instantly fell in love with it. It gave me such a fairy-tale vibe! I kept digging to find out where it was and how we could make this dream a reality.

This place is none other than Chocolate Ville Bangkok, a beautifully themed restaurant. The location was quite far from where we stayed, so we decided to use a cab instead of public transport. The place opens at 3:00 p.m., and you can either walk in or make a reservation. I made an early reservation via LINE, but when we arrived, I realized it wasn’t really necessary as there was plenty of space available.

We left the Pratunam area around 5:00 p.m., but due to traffic, we reached around 6:00–6:30 p.m. Thankfully, it wasn’t dark yet.

Chocolate Ville is full of photo spots, so it’s best to arrive early before it gets dark. The entrance fee is 150 Baht per person, which you can redeem inside for ice cream. Most people visit just to enjoy the vibe and only a few actually dine at the restaurant, as we noticed.

There’s also an activity schedule displayed each evening. We were lucky enough to catch the bubble show, which was absolutely magical! You’ll see a team dressed as bears and teddy bears performing fun entertainment acts. If you want to take energetic photos with them, make sure to keep some tip money ready, I realized that a bit too late! 😅

Chocolate Ville changes its decorations according to the season. It was summer-themed when we visited, and we loved it! I’ve also seen videos of their fall and Christmas themes, which look equally stunning.

From the entrance onward, there are plenty of adorable photo locations and truly a heaven for girls who love taking cute pictures! 📸

They also have an area where you can feed capybaras and prairie dogs and it was my first time seeing both of these animals in real life! I even met some cute girls there feeding the capybaras.

The buildings are designed in a charming European style. After exploring the area, we headed to the restaurant and were lucky to get a table right next to the lake infront of the same spot where the bear performances took place. The performers danced to a few songs and even celebrated some birthdays!

We ordered several dishes and drinks, enjoying the rest of the evening while reminiscing about all the beautiful memories from our trip. We were able to catch a Grab easily from the place back to the Pratunum area.

Wow, @randulakoralage, Chocolate Ville looks absolutely enchanting! Thanks so much for sharing this hidden gem in Bangkok – I'm already dreaming of visiting! The photos are stunning, and your detailed description of the atmosphere, the bubble show, and even the capybaras makes it feel like I'm right there with you.

I especially appreciate the practical tips, like the best time to arrive and the tip about having tip money ready for the performers, haha! It's great to know about the seasonal decorations too – definitely gives me a reason to visit more than once.
