Great article. I think you are absolutely right. We deffinately need a larger middle class. I think that some support frome these whales would set off a butterfly effect. Once the middle class had more voting power, they would be distributing the wealth to others, whos content they enjoy. Right now it seems highly divided. Once a middle class is established, I believe steem will take off. That's jusy my opinion though. I know that once i get a little voting power, I will be spreading it around. I think that others will do the same as well. Not all, but some at least.
