2 Year STEEM Anniversary!!!
I know it says I have been on STEEM for 20 Years in my footer but it has been 2 years. I'm a time traveler!
That is crazy it has been that much time and it has certainly been a roller coaster during that time. The STEEM blockchain has shown everyone what is possible and has really impressed me with all these 3rd party applications like DTube, DLive, Busy.org, Steepshot, eSteem and many more.
I hesitate to do this because I knew I will forget someone but thank you to everyone who has supported my shenanigans.
susanne, papa-pepper, opheliafu, builderofcastles, brandonp, brianphobos, getonthetrain, harleymechanix, colinhoward, hr1, quarry, anothersteemer, aldentan, rulesforrebels, thecryptofiend, toofasteddie, stackin, cryptofunk, sulev, reseller, sandstorm, dexter-k, consciousangel7, sbi3, luigi-tecnologo, pranks, aclarkuk82, icethekicker, skunkape, hog, racecar, hogzilla, hotties, st3llar, imaverick, quiti, mrwalt, javelin, amc, mach, zelus, hypnos, pontus, apophis, pools, dodgeball, lucky-sable, hitmanchoi, stokjockey, happymoneyman
and many more!!! Too many to name. Ok like 15 of those were my own accounts but still. Thanks @hogzilla !
I see a bright future for the Delegated Proof of Stake blockchains. There are always going to be issues to overcome and it can be frustrating at times for sure but the technology has an enormous amount of promise!
Okay it's that time again! Upvote me so I can go buy myself some cupcakes!

Happy 2nd Anniversary to you man, crazy how much time flys! I'll never forgot how much you have guided my journey here also. So here's to another two years and $25 STEEM!
Thanks man! It has been some crazy roller coaster and I liked in your Anniversary video how you talked about eating dirt. I have been using that saying since then! Hahhaha
Hey buddy, watching both @brianphobos journey as well as yours has been incredibly inspiring and both of you have really shaped my experience on here for the positive. Both of you are interesting guys, hard workers, great content creators and have done a lot to move forward this community.
One thing I'd love to see on Steemit in general and I think you would be the perfect person to initiate since you know the platform so well, have made so many connections and have your Steemit Minute show.
One thing I notice on here is oftentimes the people who do the most for the Steemit community and the people who are truly ambassadors for Steemit often don't profit monetarily and in the case of Steemit many times the people who do the least for Steemit and who are very self centered are the ones who tend to reap the rewards.
To make it a basketball analogy, there's often players who are instramental to the success of their team, but don't get the same recognition as the star player or big scorer, but that guy putting up big points couldn't do so without that other guy passing the ball to them perfectly, moving the ball around the court to open up shots for them, etc.
I see people like @brianphobos @yungchief and many others, too many to mention who do so much to grow adoption and bring new peope on and support people but that in and of itself doesn't really translate into growth on the platform or money.
I remember back last summer when you and I both got on here there was a lot more of these posts of community meetups and people in some countries getting their entire city behind Steemit. We don't see as much of that these days. I see @yungchief doing a lot of that both trying to grow Steemit in his community and also doing a lot for his local community as well yet when I look at his posts he's making like 0.08 cents per post.
In the case of @brianphobos who I should focus on since this is his anniversary, @brianphobos was so instramental in terms of answering questions I had about Steemit early on, giving me some support in the form of upvotes nad resteems to bring some attention to my posts that would have otherwise been lost in the new category. I know you've had the same experience with him and it's not just us, when I look at other peoples posts I see brian actively commenting on and interacting with other people helping them out, I think he's done so much for this platform and welcomming new people and everything else and I think that sometimes goes unrecognized.
I like how you do your Steemian of the day and video of the day, I've gotten it twice and was truly flattered both times, I like how your trying to bring some recognition to people in that way.
That said I guess what I'm proposing is some kind of thing where maybe once a week you recognize someone doing a lot for the steemit community who's maybe not getting the recognition they deserve and as opposed to just giving them some monetary reward doing something to try to get the community to rally behind them either in the sense of getting everyone to upvote or resteem a post of theirs, to follow them, something along those lines.
I think that woudl do a lot for the individuals in terms of getting some recognition for some peopel who maybe feel unapprecitaed, but also and more importantly trying to get the community to maybe strive to be a valuable member of this community as opposed to just taking taking taking.
I've talked about this before so I don't mean to beat a dead horse but I think it would be a cool idea and if anyone has the power and influence to get something like that off the ground I think it would be you.
Thank you both @brianphobos and @reseller for all you've done for Steemit as well as for being part of my journey on here. Appreciate both of you.
Congrats man!
Thanks! It has been a long haul!
Its a great news! congratulation for your two years anniversary!! thanks for sharing this post. I have following and upvoted you @brianphobos
Thank you!
Happy anniversary! Two years had flown by!
Yeah in some ways it seems like a long time ago and in other ways it seems like it just happened a little bit ago. I still have all these folders on my computer from all the posts I have ever done. It is pretty crazy amount of work to be honest.
Yeah I know that feeling for sure! You would never have seen that in a million years, well I certainly wouldn't!
Was yours today? Mine was two days ago! How cool!
Yeah, Mine is today! Hahah. That is crazy we came here at the same exact time basically.
Congratulations!
Thank you!
Congrats! Mine is just around the corner as well.
Hey, I found this program that is only in Arizona that will give you $1,000 for your IRA if you attend 4 personal finance classes and 2 meetings with an advisor. Tucson is one location, check it out to see if you meet the requirements. I am too old! lol http://tci-foundation.org/3rddecade/
Thank!
I just went to the website. It looks like the September classes are already filled and it would have to spill over to Jan 2019. Pretty interesting though! I signed up.
Let me know if you get in! :D
Thanks!
Happy Anniversary.
Just a day after me😎
Crazy! A lot of us stayed around and rode the roller coaster! Hahhaha
Yes, there are still quite a lot gone and some came back. :-)
Congrats man! Been here like 13 months! Time Flies!
