After a night of rain it finally cleared for 40 minutes, i took that opportunity to rip around the block and get some walking done.

The forecast for the rest of the day was Sun with rain and possible thunderstorms, just before 9am i decided i might as well go for a ride since it sort of stopped raining.

It did rain on me a few times but then the sun would come out, i was actually enjoying the rain as it was a 24 degree C and we haven't had much rain lately.

After getting back and having a nice shower and a change of clothes i decided to go down town, i wanted to get some new Running/walking shoes as i have worn the last pair out.

These ones cost $179 NZD which is $103 USD and are nice to walk in so far as you would expect, only walking around the house in them anyway.

Since we are entering Winter and the wet season having some tread on my footwear will help a lot.

Tomorrow for me is an opportunity to ride my Mountain bike 7 days straight, the weather is looking average at this stage but that could change, even it is raining you only get wet once.
