Hi All ! So this is a new (ok, not so new) diet trend doing the rounds of social media these days. I tried to start it 3 months ago but had to take a setback because of festivals in India. Hey! you gotta eat in the festivals. So, what is this diet? As the name suggests, it is - WHOLE-food PLANT-based diet. So basically, that is what you can eat.

CATCH -
BUT believe me, this arena is so vast that, contrary to how it sounds, there is TONS of stuff you CAN eat (and drink). There are a lot of crazy foods (we may or may not have heard of) that are WFPBD approved and are super healthy. Somethings we already know of - oats, brown rice, nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables. And some things are are not so familiar with - Quinoa, oat milk, almond milk, rice milk (YES), nutritional yeast (its YUM) etc etc...

Good points - You loose weight, you gain healthy weight, you gain strength, you glow, you improve your blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroids, joint pains and you save the environment by NOT KILLING animals.

As you can may be already make out - you can't have dairy, no cheese, no meat, no fish, no eggs. ONLY the food that came from plants and that too WHOLE, not processed.

Bad points - NONE, really. But if you are still keen - bad points include, having less intelligent friends, less social acceptability (just for a few years till this diet becomes a bomb, AND most of it, having to rain-check every food item you find around you.

BUT again! you will not regret. That is the mantra of this diet, no regrets, no pain, lots of gain and happiness. You basically feel happy inside doing this.

So go on, try this and post in comments what you think.
