Is This UpSeptember? Bitcoin, Solana, and STEEM Are Suddenly Looking Very Alive

September is supposed to be the month crypto investors fear. Historically, Bitcoin has often struggled during September, giving the month its rather depressing reputation.

But September 2026 apparently didn't get the memo.

Bitcoin is trading around $80,500, after spending several weeks bouncing between roughly $75,000 and $81,000. What makes the latest move particularly interesting is how quickly buyers returned after Bitcoin recently dropped below $76,000.

Instead of collapsing, Bitcoin basically said: Thanks for the discount.

Now the big question is whether BTC can finally break through the $81,000–$82,000 resistance area. If that happens and Bitcoin manages to stay above it, the consolidation we've seen since August could suddenly look very bullish.

Solana is knocking on the door

Solana might look even more exciting.

SOL has climbed from approximately $75 to almost $110 in about a month. After several corrections along the way, it is once again challenging its recent highs.

The next major psychological area is around $110–$112. Breaking convincingly above that could attract even more attention.

And then there is STEEM...

STEEM apparently decided subtlety was overrated.

After trading around $0.035 in August, STEEM climbed toward $0.045 before suddenly exploding above $0.06, including one crazy wick close to $0.09.

More importantly, it didn't immediately collapse back to where the rally started. STEEM is currently around $0.057, making the $0.05–$0.053 area particularly interesting.

Small cryptocurrencies are obviously far more volatile, so one giant candle doesn't automatically mean a new bull market.

Still, Bitcoin, Solana, and STEEM moving strongly simultaneously certainly makes September more entertaining than expected.

Maybe Uptober came early.

Or perhaps we should call it UpSeptember.

Either way, I'm watching $82,000 BTC very closely.
