SC-S28/wk5: "Movie Highlights: Old is Gold"

Hello movie lovers!!

It's good to be back for week 5. Incase you are joining us for the first time, this is steemit challenge season 28: movie Highlights!!.

Am your host ruthjoe!! And I say a big welcome, it's been so amazing from week 1 till now! Next week will be week 6 and it will be a wrap for season 28.

They say memories are good reminder that we are growing and I certainly believe it. There are movies that made memories for us back then, they might be Old but they made memories, this goes for some actors. Over here in Nigeria one of the movies that made growing up sweet was movies like aki and pawpaw, they made us laugh so hard, we also had movies like osoufia in London. Amazing memories!

Therefore, for week 5 I have decided to give all my movie lovers an opportunity to enjoy those kinds of movies of old. Movies that made memories for you. Such movies might be forgotten but you can bring them back with your entry. But you must read the task to understand your assignment for the week. I have titled this weeks task as "Old but Gold". Check it out.

Objective of week 5

The Objective for this week is to see movies of old times, enjoy it and Learn from timeless storytelling.

Task for the week

• Watch a classic movie made before the year 2000. Example films: The Shawshank Redemption, The Matrix, Casablanca, The Lion King (1994)

• What felt different about the storytelling of the movie compared to newer films?

• Did the film age well, or did some parts feel outdated?

• What do you think made this movie a “classic”?

• How did the characters or themes relate to today’s world?

• Read carefully and understand the task

• Your entry will be evaluated and rated out of 10, based on the emotional impact, quality and presentation, thoughts and the creativity of your storyline. Note that results can not be contested and decisions are final!

  (add name of the movie)
