I am 24 hours away from departing Wellington New Zealand bound for Brisbane Australia, this will be my first work job in Australia this year after 10 of the last year.

The last couple of days i have been busy doing jobs around the house like mowing lawns and some cleaning.

Yesterday we purchased a new car as our Daughter now has her drivers license, we brought this Suzuki Swift for $5500 NZD for her to cruise around town in.

It will also be a vehicle @kiwijacobgo will be learning to drive in, it s a great car for what we want and is clean & tidy and goes well.

I am away from home for 12 nights and will be staying at Q1 on the Gold Coast, we stayed there as a family a couple of years back and it was awesome.

Today so far i have cleaned 2 x showers/bathrooms, washed 3 cars and been for a couple of walks.

Once i get to Brisbane i will grab a rental car and drive the hour south to the Gold Coast, i could have flown in & out of the Gold Coast but the trip back has a 5 hour layover in Auckland.

For the rest of today i will be sorting some of tuff i plan to take with me out, and i think i may have a Bourbon n Coke since its such a nice day here today.
