My first day of work on the Gold Coast went very well and it was nice to go back to a site i enjoyed the first time, i have the same team member as my so called minder and we get on really well.

Since i am 3 hours behind New Zealand time here i got up at 4.30am this morning, after a cup of coffee i went down to the beach for a quick look as the sun was coming up.

Lots of people out walking at 5am here and it was a warm morning, i woke to 24 degrees C which was nice.

I even had a swim in the pool at the Hotel at 6am before going back to my room to get things sorted for day 1 of work.

When i pulled up to work the car said it as 30 degrees outside at 8am, the weather has changed a bit as i type as its now back to 25 degrees C.

After work i did the normal stuff like sending my data off to the boss, then i decided to go and find a Supermarket as i had some shopping to do.

I got some more of the Lemongrass Soap that everyone loves back home and i also decided to take a couple of new ones home.

This soap smells sooo good and it really creamy and it lasts the longest i have seen of any soap we use at home.

On my last trip to Queensland late last year i took home some scratch tickets and we had $100 to cash in, so i spent and extra $20 and got 6 of the same type to take home.

My partner loves these Chicken Chickadees so i got some for her, and everyone loves the Pods i take home.

Tomorrow and every other day i am here is a 5am start so i will be getting up at 3am, remembering this is only 6am New Zealand time.

This has been my first day on the Gold Coast Australia, i hope YOU are having as good as Monday as i am.
