This Kiwi has had a pretty busy day which has included my travel to the Gold Coast Australia, i got up early as i wanted to do some last minute jobs like Mow the lawns so they are all pretty while i am away.

I left home at 12.45pm NZ time and drove to Wellington International Airport which is normally a 2 hour drive, today it took 2.5 hours due to road works being done.

My car was parked at the Long term carpark and i waited for the shuttle to the terminal, after passing security i waited for my flight to Brisbane.

After arriving at Brisbane Airport i once again breezed through security and headed to the Avis desk to get my rental car, i did order a Toyota Corolla but they guy said we will upgrade you to a Mitsubishi Outlander.

This Hotel is where we stayed as a family a coupe of years ago in a three bedroom suite, this one i have is a one bedroom one but it's still MASSIVE.

The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook, looks like a good oven and a very nice fridge.

This Hotel is quite flash and has everything i am going to need while i stay here, i have more room than i need but my company did get t for a great rate.

In the bathroom as well as the Shower i have a spa bath which will be getting used.

It also has a Washing machine and a dryer so i will be able to wash my clothes when i see fit too.

Its a bit warmer than back home here and when i landed it was a a nice 30 degrees C, i do prefer the heat and since its summer here i expect some hot days.

Right i think i have done enough today to just sit back and relax, i am all ready for my first day of work tomorrow.
