Yesterday i drove 600 odd kilometers to Auckland for my final job of the year, the journey took 6 hours to complete but with a few stops and some stunning scenery i made it to my Hotel.

Had a great day for driving with sunshine and a 22 degree day, i just took my time and could have done the trip in just over 5 hours.

I got to my hotel mid afternoon and checked in for the next 10 odd nights, i think i will be just fine here for a few days.

I even have a little balcony which is always a bonus, seems relatively quiet and there are food places around.

Did my first day of work on this workiste which i have never been before, its an Ambient shed which will be my first Ambient one of the year - all of the others were Temp controlled.

Another reason i decided to bring my car was that i could put whatever in it i wanted, like my Mountain bike.

Its going to be good to have my own bike with me and i will be doing a bit of exploring around Auckland.

Like today...

We have another nice day with a temp of 23 degrees C and bugger all wind, my ride was only 11K long but i had already walked 10K at work today.

Right i better work out what i am having for dinner.
