People really are that insane
The topic of my post today was different, but you know how things happen with me... Yesterday I read something. And it pushed one of the painful buttons. And so the topic of my post changed.
I think I should try to find more time to write posts here, so that I can say everything I want to say. Although this is quite a difficult undertaking during the week, when I am always squeezed like a lemon and have no time, energy and strength for anything other than eating, going to bed and so until the next day, when the same thing happens. And yet, I am grateful for it, after all the years when this was not the case...
So, yesterday I read something that really pushed one of my buttons. This painful topic of work and unemployment, the years of not being able to find a job, etc.
A "politician" wrote a post on FB about what a brilliant political future awaits a member of the party he is a member of. The member, a 23-year-old girl. I couldn't help but wonder who this girl was, so young and with such a promising future. And it turned out that this girl had completed her bachelor's degree in higher education on February 1st of this year.
And you know, I've said before, people who have such a bright future - from school to head straight to directorships or, as is the case, to parliament - these are only one type of people - the children of former members of State Security or members of the communist party from the past in its high ranks.
But no matter how hard I tried to find anything about her and her family that was related to the communist past, I couldn't. Yes, her father was a public figure, probably with a lot of connections, and the party this girl is a member of was founded by people with a rich communist past. But still.
The website of the party that launched her states the following: "For three years now, I have been working as a parliamentary assistant for culture and cultural policies in the National Assembly for members of parliament from this party, having previously been an expert at the municipal enterprise "Tourism". Author of journalistic texts on educational and social topics. I am a lecturer at the SmartScroll Academy on the topic of online child safety."
And I think that this is exactly where this girl surpasses all the children of the State Security and members of the Communist Party of the past. She has been an expert since she was 18. She has worked as a consultant in the National Assembly since she was 20. She will enter parliament at 23. Maybe she will become some kind of minister, why not foreign affairs, at 25, prime minister at 27, etc.
The man, a "politician" who had written what a brilliant political future awaits this inexperienced girl, is a man who entered politics through an advertising campaign. This man, at the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, made a campaign to raise funds for generators for Ukraine. Yes, he advertised himself by collecting foreign money, and it was a large-scale advertising campaign. Then he entered politics. He is also the owner of a publishing house that launched the most successful writer in Bulgaria, a writer who gained his fame solely because of a massive advertising campaign. I have told you about him before, I have read only one book of his that shook me and I would not touch any other of his supposedly successful and good books. So, it is obvious that this man, the owner of a publishing house, understands advertising strategies and PR campaigns that launch you to the top. Or at least - to the parliament.
One thing became clear from the information about this girl on the party's website - that the protests that brought down the government last year were not spontaneous, neutral and independent. I tried to explain this several times, even to my partner, who also has a hard time navigating the political situation these days, especially because of the huge amount of false information spewing from the TV.
The protests were organized by this party in opposition, which arose from people with "a past", as I told you, who bring young and inexperienced people into their ranks, claiming that these people are the future and they will change the game. They let these people into the protests, then they say that the protests are spontaneous, they are caused by the spontaneous desire of "young people" to live well. Without mentioning that these young people are members of their party, that they have been "experts" in state governance since they were 18 years old. And that protests are not held to change anything in the state, not to make people live better, but simply to seize power. Because that's where the money is. For stealing and giving away. Nothing more. And the money for "making" 18-year-olds experts.
You understand that I am personally affected by this. After years of unemployment. After numerous interviews in which employers ask their prospective employee impossible things for low pay, after so many lies, after so much humiliation. After so much humiliation that triggered physical illnesses, I read about a young girl of 23 years old with a bright political future. Because that's the way things are here. It doesn't matter how old you are, what education you have, or even if you have any education, it doesn't matter how many languages you speak, it matters who you know, whose daughter you are, what your family tree is.
The girl even has a Russian last name. Of course, that doesn't mean anything at first glance. Many people here have foreign last names. But it might also mean something in a party formed by people with a communist past.
Other members of this party also have openly Russian names. But that doesn't matter at all to their supporters, these zombie-like people, as I told you before, I don't know how this party managed to entangle so many otherwise seemingly sane people in its webs. Even the biography of this young girl makes them applaud instead of thinking about its decency or its realism.
People really are that insane!

Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
Personally, I am a sensitive soul with a strong sense of justice.
Traveling and photography are my greatest passions.
Sounds trivial to you?
No, it's not trivial. Because I still love to travel to not so famous destinations.🗺️
Of course, the current situation does not allow me to do this, but I still find a way to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, new places, beauty and art.
Sometimes you can find the most amazing things even in the backyard of your house.😊🧐🧭|
