An evening at the rugby...

A benefit of coaching my sons rugby age group is that when we get invited to be the flag barers for our capital citys rugby team - Cardiff, the coach gets a free ticket and an all access pass to pitch side and players areas.

In front of a 8000 crowed my son and a lucky few of his friends got the honor of welcoming both teams; Cardiff Blues and the visitors Leinster on to the pitch.

Eventually running out 8-7 winners, Cardiff fought bravely right till the 80th and final minute, taking the scalp of a very strong and in-form Leinster side.

Everyone left happy, and even though we were soaked to the bone, we all left warm in our hearts.
