Walking with the wife

Its not very often Mrs Welshstacker and myself get any time together without our 2 crouchfruits in tow. But while our 2 were in school, we both decided to book a day off work and go explore the great outdoors.

Ive said it before and ill say it again - how blessed i am to be living somewhere where abundant beauty is literally a 5 minute walk away...

With good weather (not raining) forecast for much of the day, we set off in search of adventure and some quality time together

A 6.5mile round trip into the hills and woodlands of our local area, and a total of 23,000 steps to boot! Not a bad way to spend the day away from the kids.
