RE: SteemFest3 VR - Modelizing SteemFest in 3d [Event Coverage by Global School](EN)

in #steemfest6 years ago

Thank you @roelandp for passing by and dropping this encouraging message! What is the most impressive to me it is the record time in which some of the students made the model. I counted only 3h in total they used to make this. The next update whould be with some textures, lights, shadows, then next with cinematics and interactivity (a simple usage would be to make out of it a 3d video player to present some of the presentations which happenned there or increase in interactivity and make a kind of serious-game for example to get to know the people or projects).

I can't wait to show you what we can do with a better preparation. However, making this prototype with only few pictures as reference is a good challenge, enable to understand better what is possible and the potential for an event such as steemfest to provide an immersive experience by offering an interactive 3d event coverage, including learning, networking and crowdfunding features to allow participants as well as those who couldn't join to experiment the event in an original way. Furthermore, its a great hackathon to organize and make any competence from any age, horizon, skill or level cooperate on as it bring all kind of media and technics together.

Looking forward to have another chat together to see how we can support you towards steemfest4 for which @globalschool would love to cooperate with you in between other things I'll be glad to present you. Do not hesitate if you drop by telegram when you'll be available, I do not want to disturb, I know you have a lot to do. =)
