Exercise always test a persons body and mind. For this challenge which our teacher give to us I did soft mode press‑up for three days straight. The plan was simple but powerful:

  • Day One: 10 reps
  • Day Two: 15 reps
  • Day Three: 20 reps

Therefore, with that, each day I do well to record video of myself doing the exercise, snap one picture, and also check my vital signs before, during, and after (heart rate and respiration). The journey was not just about numbers; it's about how my body and mind do respond.

Day One – Warming Up with 10 Reps

I woke up early, clear some space spread mat, and set my phone camera. Before I start, I check my vital signs.

Vital Signs – Day One (Slide the table to view more)

My clear MeasurementBefore ExerciseDuring the Exerciseand After ExerciseHow I Did the excersiceHow I Felt
My Heart Rate (bpm)728470I lie down flat, my palms was firm on the ground, my body straight and knees bend slightly. First five reps was smooth, last five begin to heavy. My Chest was pumping, and little sweat on my forehead, but I felt proud.
Respiration records from Me (my breaths/min)142016

Detailed Experience:
With the help of warm-up which I did,The first five reps flow very well, but from number six I begin to feel tension on my shoulder because it's been a while I excersice. I didn't stop, I push till ten. When I finish, I lie down smiling like a person that just win a battle. My chest rise and fall faster, but I was still in control. I took pictures of myself while exercising.

Day Two – Stepping Up to 15 Reps

After the first day i skipped a day. So on my Second day with the excersice which was on Wednesday, I woke up with small soreness on my arms. I almost think to rest, but I remind myself that discipline is the key. I set my phone again, ready to record.

Vital Signs – Day Two

My MeasurementBefore the ExerciseDuring the ExerciseAnd After doing the ExerciseHow I Did the excersiceAnd How I Felt
My heart Rate (bpm)749272I started very strong, the first ten reps flow like yesterday. Extra five reps was the real test to me.My Arms begin to shake, my chest was heavy, and sweat was dripping.
My respi... records (my breathing/ min)152217

Detailed Experience:
However by rep twelve, my arms were shaking. I was counting loud: “13…14…15!” When I finish, I collapse on the ground, laugh, and shout. My breathing was rushing, my rise and fall fast against. I snap picture of myself sitting, showing the effort the second time.

Day Three – Pushing to 20 Reps

Final day was the climax. I woke up with determination. I tell myself that today was the day I will prove that I can push beyond comfort zone.

Vital Signs – Day Three

The Measurement I didBefore the ExerciseDuring the Push up ExerciseAnd After this ExerciseHow I Did ItHow I really Felt
My Heart Rate (bpm)739874First ten reps smooth, next five tough, last five pure battle. My Arms were shaking a bit as usual, breath rush, my chest pump like the generator.
Final respi... record from me (my own breathing/min)142418

Detailed Experience:
Truly the first ten reps was really smooth, the next five was tough, and the last five was a pure battle. My arms shake, my breath rush too, but I didn't stop. I counted each rep with loud voice till I reach 20. When I finish, I lie down flat, my chest was pumping more strong. Sweat drip heavily, my whole body was hot. I put hand on the chest, feeling the heartbeat strong. I snap picture of myself lying down, showing the effort.

Final Reflection

1000171929.jpg

After the three days, I say down to think and review the journey with i just started. Each day as one video plus andone picture, to keep as memory.

The challenge teach me some lessons:

  • Start small, build confidence. Ten reps is the foundation of this my journey and my I needed a result of 94 reps at the last day of this challenge.

  • Progress is sweet but it surely demands effort. Fifteen reps stretch me.

  • Discipline can carry a person to cross the finish line. Twenty reps prove to me that my mind is stronger than the body sometimes.

Recording my vital signs before, during, and after each session help me to understand how my body do react. I can see clearly that heart rate and respiration do increase during exercise, then calm down after. It shows that my cardiovascular system is working harder, but also do recover well.

Hi, @emishael60

It's a pleasure to see that you've accepted our challenge, welcome! Here is our evaluation of your participation:

I see you chose a simple push-up variation, which is good when you're starting out to learn how to master the exercise. I noticed you edited the video from day 2; it's not clear if you completed all the repetitions. Please avoid this in the future.

We'll see you next week!

So sorry, I just got to see the mistake now ,I mistakenly split the video on capcut while editing it and I didn't notice. I'll take note next time. Thanks for the review.
