SEC-S29W3:My Progressive Action (Squats)
I am here again to take part in this third week of fitness. Trust your are good, I am also well. I am so excited to be a part of this challenge. I made little mistake in my last exercise and now I am fully ready. So I am here to learn more from this challenge. I chose squats from push up, squats, skipping imaginary rope, jumping jacks, russion twist, skipping with rope and seat up with dumbbells.
I select Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for my workout days.
◉Day 1: Monday (45 Squats) |
|---|
This week was little more tough than the previous one. This time my target was 45 squats. Honestly I was not fully confident at start. But I already did 40 before, so somewhere in my mind I knew I can try. Before starting, I stretched my legs for few minutes.
I did not want pain in my legs. I stood properly, legs slightly open hands in front and started counting slowly. First 20 squats were fine. My body was already used to movement because of last week. After 25 reps, my thighs start slow pain. Around 35 squats my legs were more paining. When I completed all 45 squats, I felt really proud.
Heart rate:
Before exercise: 66/ min
After exercise: 62/min
Breathing:
Before: 13/min
After: 16/min
◉Day 2: Tuesday (50 Squats) |
|---|
On Tuesday I pushed myself a little more. On that day, I completed 50 squats which was big number for me. Before starting I was little scared because my legs were already tired from previous day. I did not want to break my flow. I started slowly and focused on my balance. First 20 squats went okay, no major problem.
After 30 my thighs were burning and breathing was heavy. The hardest part was after 40 squats. My legs was little shaking. My ands felt weak but I keep counting in my head. Finally I complete all 50 squats and I felt very proud of myself.
Heart rate:
Before exercise: 66/min
After exercise: 69/min
Breathing:
Before: 15/min
After: 19/min
◉Day 3: Wednesday (55 Squats) |
|---|
On Wednesday, I pushed myself more and completed 55 squats. Seriously , before start my body was already feeling tired from Monday and Tuesday. My legs were heavy but my mind was ready. I did not rush this time. I started slow and focused on posture. First 25 squats were manageable but after that my thighs start pain but less before. On 40 squats I want to stop for moment but I said no. Last 15 squats were hardest part of day. My legs were little shaking but I did not give up. After finishing 55 squats I felt pain but also happiness.
Heart rate:
Before: 63/mim
After: 69/min
Breathing:
Before: 15/min
After: 19/min
◉My Overall Experience |
|---|
In these three days, I learned that consistency is more important than strength. My body slowly adjust and my mind became stronger.
Some days were painful but I did not quit. I learned to trust process and push myself step by step.

Hi, @shahidalinaz
It's a pleasure to see that you've accepted our challenge, welcome! Here is our evaluation of your participation:
One piece of advice: keep your back straight. Sometimes you lean forward, which strains your lower back muscles and can cause injury. The steady progress of five repetitions per day was great. Good work!
We'll see you next week!
