BioSkin is a traditional system with a modern addition. It is followed by a Japanese tradition. The rain water is collected and fed through the ceramic pipes to the building.

BIOSKIN is a technology expected to stop the heat island phenomenon. What led to the creation of BIOSKIN was the Japanese summertime tradition of uchimizu.

If more buildings are connected to this system the more reduction in heat can be achieved.

It can generate power too which can significantly drop the air conditioning expenses.

I see this us quite an innovative approach to solve the ever growing problem of generating power for large buildings.
This approach will surely benefit a lot many economies.
Nice hunt.

BIOSKIN will be good for tropical areas. Wow! Technology is really doing great these days, great hunt Hunter

This form of pipe is similar to the tubes used in a thermal power plant and i think during hot summer or during day time the water inside ceramic tubes will get converted in to steam and that steam can be used to run a turbine to generate power. This hunt is the best hunt of the day.

Thank you and Have a great day.

I would install this as it serves a very useful purpose nice concept hope to see it become more common place

For the fact that its operate with both rain water and solar eneegy, natural resource that comes in abundant, for the cooling and generation of energy for the building has made it a number choice system for my house. To crown it all, it requires no maintenance what so ever. Great hunt

Very interesting concept. Simple and nice. The thing that it have traditions means that it is working and it is proven.

This is an amazing invention. Some of the old traditional practices actually have excellent but simple technological idea behind them. This is a good example of one that seems to be far relevant for today's climate than in the past.

I like the idea and the design of the Bioskin product. This will create totally new types of building which are able to produce its own energy. This technology combined with solar window panels could lead us into the future of selfsustainable buildings. Very good Hunt and thanks for sharing!

This is pure brilliance. Living in a tropical climate, I know just how much heat concrete buildings absorb and retain.
The ability to divert some of that heat from the building means less energy needed to cool it AND the heated water from the Bioskin could be used via a heat exchanger to provide hot water and generate power thus reducing energy usage and costs even further.
The only downside I can see to this is that it looks awful and there would need to be a better way to incorporate it into the architecture more subtly.
