I am digging these posts about the effects of Steem on people’s lives. I am trying to focus more on travel and ways I can fund it. I have been taking a bit of a break from all social media for a while but finally getting back in and pretty much focusing on nothing but Steem. Being I now live full time in my van, I think the travel blogs may start to come! Thanks for the well written and inspirational post.
You live in a van? That's one huge step that I've been dreaming about for a while! Either a van or a sailboat.
I'm also not a social media user, I only have twitter to follow some news, but my main webpage is Steem related - I think it's one hell of a good tool to exercise creativity and why not raise some money (won't make us rich, but certainly helps with food)
Yeah man, the connections I have made in here are all pretty cool people. I mean you have to be fairly intelligent to use this platform so I know I can communicate with most, lol.
But yeah man, I have been full time in the van since September. It was definitely an adjustment but at this point I am loving it. I am the most active I have been in years and actually have been more healthy than ever too. I still have a full time job that I work from the van but has pretty tight requirements and such so I hang out on work days in places that I can get really good internet or I park at either my sister’s house, where I pay the internet bill, as well as my ex and kids place, again, where I pay internet, so instead of rent, I pay for internet in multiple places as well as my own mobile unit. But when I am off, I tend to want to venture out and travel, except in winter, I am sticking close by my safe places, lol. But all I can say man is do it. Get a van and do it. I over analyzed and over spent on crap I thought I needed. Half of it is in my mini storage locker, lol. If you have any questions just ask!
The over spending on crap is real !! It's been a while that I'm trying to sell some things I don't really use, so just now I can realise that I shouldn't have bought those things in the first place, it's nuts!!!
