Goodbye Steemit (Not STEEM)

TIME TO FULLY ABANDON STEEMIT

Page2.jpg

I closed my Steemit.com tab a couple of hours ago, and I'm not planning on using it again in the foreseeable future. I've never been a Steemit fan to be fair - I hardly ever used it. When I first started, of course, I used it since that was all I knew. I soon found Busy.org and made a switch to using that. I preferred the interface and liked the Busy upvote.

I know some people here that used it even less than I did - mainly DTubers. They, like me, used Steemit to make changes to settings, update keys, e.t.c., but apart from that, they used their favourite dapp.

I'm writing this on SteemPeak, which I'm starting to fall in love with to be honest. I love the coder form factor with the preview on the right hand side rather than below the text editor. eSteem also uses this form factor.

There are so many features on SteemPeak also, that make it so nice to create a post in. It would be a lot better, of course, bit is limited by the Markdown of the blockchain.

I recently returned to using Steemit when Communities was released, but now that SteePeak has communities compatibility, I'm good!

TIME TO LEAVE

I highly encourage all content creators that love the Steem blockchain to consider abandoning Steemit.com in light of the ongoing hostilities by the new owner Justin Sun. It doesn't have to be SteemPeak, you can pick your favourite dapp from the available list.

I'm going to be spending my time between SteemPeak and Busy, since I'm still getting the sweet little upvote. Mind you, I hear their delegations have changed so that may have dwindled to nothing now. We shall see.

Peace & Love,

Adé

Steemit is likely to wither and die. Did you see the @blocktrades post? I had hoped it would not come to it, but it seems a fork is on the cards.

I did! and I'm excited about it.
If it's "his money" to undelegate, it's our content to to withdraw.

Good plan mate.
I only ever use eSteem; I don’t ever really have time to use desktop sites these days!

I never used Steemit.com - it was boring, clunky and featureless. I’m amazed anyone actually ever visited that site except for like you say admin bits.

It was always SteamPeak for me, when I did use desktop.
Let’s see how this @blocktrades plan works out!

Hope you’re well dude!

I'm doing great, considering all the ongoing mess LOL
I'm so onboard for the proposal by blocktrades. It's inevitable I think.

Didn't see that coming. Here's to new horizons.

New horizons indeed.

I am with you. I am a SteemPeak fanboy too.
Steemit has been a thing of the past for me.

So tired of all this garbage, just ready for it to be over so my feed can get back to normal.

LOL. Yeah. You are ready for the move then. We will be moving to a new chain without Steemit's large hammer to smash our heads in :)

I hope they also address some of the other issues we have here as well.

I posed on busy today usually I get about $0.20 cents from them I got $0.07 so esteem it is for me! I’m so done with steem and Justin I say bring on the fork, fully behind blocktrades now!

This kid needs to learn he can’t always get his way, his mom probably refused him her titty as a baby and he grew up just wanting his way all the time, his just a spoilt brat! Probably never had to work a day in his life

his mom probably refused him her titty as a baby

This is actually a big problem in society today haha.
