I'd just like to say that I've been doing my own testing as well, putting in varying amounts to test different budgets and their performance, and while I'm not ready to share the data quite yet, I can say smaller budgets won't be making you any money back. They're still valuable in terms of the follows and increased engagement you'll get, but as a whole you'll need to spend a larger amount of money to get a good ROI.
I'm experimenting with what I call a medium budget today to see just how much you need minimum to get a good ROI, but so far it seems like the more money you have to put towards it, the better.
I’m intregued to see your outcome. I did it, but did not dare to put in more than 80steem, and that wasn’t enough to make a profit. I think You need to get in the top 10 of the trending, otherwise you will make a loss, but as you said, it does help with followers.
Agreed. You need to break into the top 10 of trending to get a positive ROI it seems.
