Yeah, the new users numbers are increasing by 30k per week. If everything goes in right direction we'll be having a million users subscribed in the Steemit platform by the end of April. I think that would be a milestone!
A milestone indeed, but remember, the most important numbers are the "active" users, so watching those rise will be key to the overall long-term success of Steemit going forward.

But I just saw that Andreas Antonopoulos posted his first post on Steemit which I just re-steemed ! And if he decides to make more posts or most importantly upload his talk in Dtube this will bring a lot more users and hopefully as you just said active ones!
We need a man like the Ant to come spread the word about Steemit, and I'm stoked to see how he goes about it into the future!
