Blog #14: Earnning money is not easy. Be responsible with your content!

Respect your money!

From first posts, I could not earn any single money. I kept writing day by day even there was no reward for me. I spent a lot of time to find a good topic and tried to contribute good content. But most of post in that time was 0.00$. I experienced that so I know the feelling when I earned the first big reward in my steemian life. I know how hard it is and that is why I respect that money and keep doing my work well to deserve with that reward.

Do not help others in the wrong way!

Right now I am helping and supporting a lot of vietnamese newbies to start being steemian. I do that because I want to help them overcome difficulties which I faced in the first time. And they can concentrate on contributing good content and get reward without any concern about anything else because I will help them handle that.
Not only me, there are a lot of people are supporting, encouraging vietnamese newbies by guide, upvoting, re-steeming,… We are helping unconditionally, we dont need anything from newbies, we don’t expect any repay from them.

The darkside of upvoting

But right now I am gradually recognizing a dark side of it. I think we are wrong when keep supporting newbie in this way. We upvote automatically, we give them big reward for every post no matter what,.. And the consequense is.. newbies think earning money is too easy. They become irresponsible steemians, copy content randomly, follow the quantity to take advantage of someones supporting them to earn money as much as possible. I dont want to be serious with this proplem but I personally dissapoint a little bit. I am wondering if I am doing the wrong thing and make everything get worse?

Come for reward. Stay for community

We all know that we are attracted by steemit because its benefit. Money. Everyone cares about money and reward from steemit. So do I. I come here for reward, but I stay for community. If we are not contributing good content, I think the-collapsed-day of steemit is coming soon. How can steemit give us real value if it is all a mess and chaos. It will gradually lose its benefit.
Maybe someones will think that sittuation is none of my business. But I have a big dream with steemit. That is why I am doing somethings to make this platform bigger and firmer and more healthy. And my dream can become true. That’s all.

I have not found out a resolution to deal with this sittuation yet. Because everyone has their own standard about what kind of content is good. I keep thinking about it. Maybe in next post, after talking with some steemians about this sittuation, I will discuss about it one more time.
