Same as you, I join Steemit almost one year, but I only have 3xx Steem Power. My short -term goal is to achieve 1,000 Steem Power in next year. In the beginning, I am a freelance cryptocurrency and blockchain writer on Facebook. And I choose Steemit because I think it is a good social community for me to gain some income for my creation. Also, it can helps me to promote my writing and make a lot of friends here. For now, I am a active user and help a lot of newcomers on Steemit, especially Chinese community.

I've joined in Steemit about 10 months ago. From here I learned a lot. Especially blogging, cryptocurrency, and more. Bangladesh is a developing country. Cryptocurrinces are illegal in Bangladesh. But they take it with the helped of different exchanges. There are a lot of good writers in this country who do not get very good posts but write very well. So if I get some SP, I'll help myself and the newcomers.

Well I came to steemit to blog and make some coin while doing so. Then I found a whole more than I was excepting. Goals now are to build up steem power and delegate to good people and projects along the way. Being that I am medically retired I have to earn my steem and can buy a bit at a time.
Goals here to help grow steem and help others as well along the way.

I am in steemit because for me it represents a source of income in my home, although the steem is at its lowest value, in my country a few steem represent a great help for daily sustenance. I would like to win a delegation because like me, there are many Venezuelans in the same position and I am looking for a large delegation to help them emerge in this vast world of steemit, and at the same time that creates strong ties so that the community does not continue to falter. By having an incentive, people persist and fight for a cause, and we all benefit from that. You know that in the steemit community it's all about growing together and there's no room for individualism. My SP goal is 1,000,000 / 1million (or MORE). Honestly I don't know why I'm on Steemit, I may find it as a very different experience of social platform rather than Facebook (etc...) I kinda treat it as investment as well, I put so many times on it (or off it in different chatrooms), and I asked myself what's the magic here?? OKAY, the answer is I don't know still (for so long). I also Steem-ing with my best partner @yanyanbebe, she also spent so many times here with, DON'T KNOW. Maybe the rewards systems? Maybe the people? Maybe it's the future? oh yea, many answers without having a certain one!!
So why are you joeparys? you got so many platform to promote but why still on Steem/Steemit with so less rewards....

Right now my SP goals is to reach the elusive 500sp to get a slider. I came to Steemit to play a daily game called @crowdini. I found some great #freewriters and now hang out in the @freewritehouse community created by @mariannewest.

That is really great even i want to get lots of steem power so basically i have set the target so the first target i wanted to achieve is 10000 steem power and after that i will try to reach the most height which i can go.

Sometimes i imagine if my steem power goals are illusion or imaginary.
I keep having this goal and dream when my steem power is 10mil or there about but how it will happen, is what i dont know.
If all my steemit goals/dreams should come true, i will do like @dimimp or more than him.
I have many expectations with steemit to think that at this moment the cryptocurrency is a bit low, I know that it has potential there are many projects that are giving value to steemit as steem. I am in particular in steemit because I wanted general good publications and this has helped me to grow intellectually, besides I have met new people a lot of potential.
