I've never been flagged, but pfunk had a post where the reward was supposed to be shared amongst the people who found out about jpiper's plagiarism. The post was a long, thorough and fair post about the incident, and it got flagged because: Because! There is a need for flagging plagiators and abusers, but when flagging it should only be done for the reasons stated in the pop-up box: fraud, hate or spam.
This actually per definition means that flagging back is wrong. The system is as far as I understand originally an upvote/downvote system, and the flag is really just a downvote. That should be changed. A flag should not be wealth-regulated either. Poor people can be just as right in fighting wrongs as rich people...
