The Subscription-Based Concept On Twitter

It's astonishing to learn that when Elon Musk purchased Twitter, the debate centered on whether it was about power or freedom of expression. The ability to utilize Twitter as a voice to serve as the ultimate and most powerful influencer in the world absolutely overshadowed the "money" issue.

He is one of the wealthiest individuals alive, thus I believe that the fact that more money might not matter to him is what caused many to entirely dismiss that portion of the story.

I believe that before the man purchased Twitter, he had already performed the calculations and developed a business plan that would allow him to transform it (Twitter) into "the" cutting-edge money-making powerhouse.

Elon Musk Is a Business Man

When Elon musk took over twitter, the first thing he did was stopping SMS verification costs. As a result, he has cleverly diverted any costs that would not directly result in profits to Twitter to the users instead, and now that he has finished doing so, he has begun his first step of monetizing Twitter for himself.

While many still view him as a glorified idealist who is going to change the world, he is actually just a businessman who is capitalizing on the most lucrative industries to become the world's richest man for a very long time.

Talking about crypto Elon is attempting to develop into the "pump-and-dump" type of influencer. We all understand the impact social media platforms like Twitter have on cryptocurrencies, thus controlling the platform gave him the power to influence the market and, if he so chose, to make a lot of money.

He did it joyfully, and it took a while before people realized that he wasn't actually interested in the crypto innovation, but rather in continuing to expand his already deep pockets (make more money). It's no longer news that Twitter has switched to a subscription model where users pay $8 a month for the blue tick verification, many influential people first opposed the notion, but in reality, this is just the denial phase, and they will eventually pay this money for the rest of their lives.

Let's face it, these influential people are still thinking about the implications of paying $8 every month for the rest of their lives, but they haven't thought about the implications of not receiving the blue tick.

Elon understands that the influential people value their social standing. For example, while politicians, influencers, and celebrity may believe that the blue tick doesn't matter, they will eventually pay a price due to possible repercussions or social value degradation if they don't have one.

In a long run, Elon musk doesn't really care about the freedom of speech rather he's after his pocket. I won't be suprise if he raised the price of blue tick verification in the future, and trust me people especially top influencer will definitely pay for it.
