8. Steem Price Update
Perhaps Steemit Inc. needs cash (dollar cash, not crypto cash) for investment like more employees or a huge marketing campaign (timed with HF 20). I hope this is the reason because that's exactly what is necessary right now to trigger an avalanche, with a lot more awareness towards steemit and a big steemit user growth.
That sounds reasonable.

All I have to say is wow...
You have a treasure trove of info I've needed for analysis for my calculations...
The trends and anomolies are really easy to see here...
like the 400 extra users accounts created last week ..
must be a bot or group, unless someone had an advertising campaign...
But it was one day spike not a chi distribution over a few days!!!!

I'm pretty sure they have employees to pay and they should also have some expenses like hosting.

The STEEM is still sitting on their account.
Maybe they anticipate price spike after HF20?
Even at the current price that's a serious amount of funds. I hope they are making good use of it. It's a lot of Steem that is not being used for curation.
Hmm, either they think the price will go down alot more and will buy back or they expect a big price increase soon lol, sadly i think lower is more likley right now but its impossible to predict crypto prices ahhh
Looks like the number of posts has bottomed, let's hope it follows the price up, should do 😀
