My understanding is that it takes 1,000,000 vests (approximately 483 Steem Power) to become a minnow, and from there, it goes up by powers of 10:
10,000,000 vests makes a dolphin.
100,000,000 vests makes an orca. Nobody talks about orcas. That is a rule that must always be obeyed.
1,000,000,000 vests and you're a whale (roughly 483,000 Steem Power).
