Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 10/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all.

April 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season wasn't done just yet thankfully. I only mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow, but strangely not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as some would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, I was already tired from the long shift and I guess fighting the hanging flu. When I did go to sleep it was cold but I was able to fall asleep relatively quick as I was just tired and still am today. I'm better prepared lately for the night by putting on a blanket over the sheets, surprisingly while it helps it isn't by much but it is enough to get me through the night. I did think about removing it last night as I think the night before I may have got too hot but honestly it was way too cold still. When I did go to sleep I only woke-up when it was time for the alarm to ring, this is because I was getting up due to work and so had no time to rest past it. Well I did almost as bad like yesterday where I thought I was probably going to end up late or rushed to be in for work on time. Again there would of definitely not been any time for breakfast if that was the plan haha. I'm already getting less sleep compared to previous days but I still don't want to push it too much after that past horrible week of feeling so unwell. I guess since this flu I know that I'm going to get tired more easily, like today I felt tired early on in the day. Later I felt like I had taken a slight step backwards into my recovery which is worrying seems to be more coughing and throat irritation surfacing. As for the weather this morning it was mostly sunny which is what it's been like lately, taking away some of the cold unfortunately we can't seem to get rid of these horrible blustery winds but at least it was a lot calmer. It's been mentioned on the weather forecast that temperatures would start rising and they do seem to be right about that. I got changed left the house and made my way for work, on the way a man stopped me asking for directions, it's annoying that this always seems to happen usually when I might be late for work. I explained to him twice how to get to a train station and while he made it nearly there I think he may have suddenly went the wrong way. When I got into work I was very surprised to see one of the guys there as I don't think I have ever seen him working the morning shift. He seemed a little upset as this is a celebration day for him and he was stuck at work, my boss also informed me he had a call to attend and so I would be on my own. While I don't mind this for a while it's clear the superiors were abusing it as after a sort return my boss said he had to go get food. And so I spent most of the time doing everything myself except I was lucky enough to get often help from the guy who I mentioned was missing out on his celebration. But we worked great as a team this morning as the superiors were being useless, I tried doing some of the weekly tasks but only done a small amount as I was just too busy. Infact I feel like I shouldn't of even bothered as the superiors left me with too much and so I wonder how they expect you to get these tasks done. During my break I replied to friends who were wondering if I had more information about the event that work won't let me a attend, I was able to update a little on who is doing what but I still have some missing info on others. Before leaving work I was already feeling sleepy not sure if enough to be able to nap, my guess is I'm still fighting this flu. When I left work I went to get a new laptop as I will need this for when and if I go and see my father this year as the current one I have is not fit for travelling, it's so old I'm surprised it's not falling apart. It was nice to still see a bit of the sun while generally it was less sunny today, at least that horrible wind wasn't as bad o the way back. However on the way home the wind did start bringing droplets and about one hour after getting home it started to rain but it wasn't by much. Even with all that there was enough time for me to get a few chores done after I got in, later I tried doing some of those updates for my friends but I didn't get far. Still my plan is to continue what I'm doing to fight the flu as a few weeks ago I swore I was going to start trying everything to shift this as it just seems to keep coming back in a different form. I have been trying mostly natural things rather than going to big pharma. Unfortunately nothing much seemed to be happening but at least I'm better now, while I have to admit I'm getting a bit off track again. But I will continue with this best I can as I feel there maybe some light at the end of the tunnel. I want to be careful with what I do and to not push myself too much as I don't want to go further backwards with this recovery but damage may have already be done somewhat. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern", I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
