Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 12/9/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

Sept 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this season, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just over the usual late hour, well this was by only 1 minute so a improvement. This was mostly due to watching a video on a retro and surprisingly not a late return from seeing friends, hopefully tonight we can do better. When I did try to reach slumber there was some difficulty to sleep but not much, what disturbed me most was the cold but I think what helped me sleep was firstly because I was tired from seeing friends and because I was prepared for the cold. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me get my sleeping routine back on track. I rested for past the alarm which I think this as been slowly happening because of the cold. As for the weather this morning it's a improvement from yesterday, in the sense that we have a beautiful clear blue sky with lots of sunshine. But temperature wise there was no heat, it turned cold 3 days ago and it remains that way😡. Normally during the afternoon it gets a little too hot, but like the past few days I don't think it will happen, perhaps only at the weekend now. There were a few people wearing summer gear this morning so my hope is with the sun out long enough it will get warmer🙏 please. Or perhaps those people were just crazy which wouldn't surprise me. The late start to the day was not much of a problem as I didn't have work to be in for today, I also didn't have plans to meet with friends later. This is good as it will give me time to try and get some chores done, but more importantly a few more tasks for my trip. Thankfully I believe most of what I needed doing for my trip as already been done, there are of course still a few little things left. But like my friends I wanted to start preparing for it early, the reason for doing some of this now is to not panic about it later when I know I won't have as much time. Especially as work gets often in the way but all that should be left are the small last minute things to pack, and that's the scary part, not to forget any of those things haha. If the opportunity was right I also wanted to see if I could get some more Steem today as it would be the last time until I return from seeing my father. On the way to see friends yesterday I wasn't too confident as it already rained "twice" and I was right it started to rain and within seconds it turned into almost tornado like weather. The sky quickly turned dark and the wind violent, the rain that was failing was beginning to turn into ice almost, it was also getting kind of misty making it difficult to see, which I think was wind just pushing a carrying so much water in the air, I don't know it was weird to see. The whole day was also very cold and I admit to feeling a little run down yesterday and today I just hope I don't get unwell for when I go and visit my father. Still I made it to my friends, and they told me stories about their trip, however I expected there to be more. Especially for the time they were away, never have they been away this long and so I thought there would be more. However I think some part of that can be down to phones, since some things were already shared via the phone it would make sense that there is less to tell. But I must admit I miss those long evening conversations that I would have, whether it be friends or family about their trips and adventures as I feel that technology as indeed somewhat killed that in some way. I guess because we share things in the moment it's not one big story anymore when we get back. But those who are catching the moment to share are they really living in the moment? See many have described and reported that when looking back at those moments they felt like they were not feeling truly present or connected to the experience they were having. I guess it's something to think about. I told my friends the sad news that those in-charge will be closing down the floor I work on. This will happen mid next month and so moving us to a lower floor with the others. It's a bad business decision that will result in us making less money. It's definitely one thing that sometimes really frustrates me, I'm so tired of seeing bad decisions being made by the idiots up top who have no clue about what they are doing. Like some of my other colleagues have pointed out already there could potentially be some people having to be cut from the team, as we won't need as many. My friends also quickly pointed out the company will surely make less money this way, next they mentioned job reduction, none of them work with me but even they can see right away why for 2 big reasons it's a bad decision. I was not able to get anymore more Steem and think my next opportunity will only be on my return, I did however meet with friends online those who have returned did show-up this time and we made good progress. As for the quick work-out this was skipped unfortunately, but last time I'm glad it went rather well as I was worried it might of made things worse after a previous time where I may of pushed it too much, and so had to be careful for a while. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, checked to see if my father needed to call me as he did try yesterday when I was out with friends, and after I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". The changes aren't anything drastic thankfully, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
