Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 13/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all.

April 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season wasn't done just yet thankfully. We have had yet another fall from Bitcoin as you can see lately there have been many bearish traps. I only mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow, however not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. Last night I went to sleep past the usual late hour but slightly earlier compared to yesterday, this was because I was catching up with other projects. When I did go to sleep it was cold but I managed to fall asleep quicker this time compared to yesterday which definitely added on some of my missing sleep time. Still I'm better prepared lately for the night by putting on a blanket over the sheets, surprisingly while it helps it isn't by much but it is enough to get me through the night usually, which is why I added another sheet as it was still cold. When I did go to sleep I only woke-up when it was time for the alarm to ring, which was a little earlier as I needed to be in for work soon. This morning I managed to give myself a little more time but not by much, I just about had enough time to get ready for work and leave. I'm getting less sleep compared to a few weeks ago and don't want to push it too much after being so unwell. Since this flu I know that I'm going to get tired more easily and on some days I still feel like I'm taking a slight step backwards into my recovery. As for the weather this morning it was very sunny to the point I was considering to wear less layers, however while it was sunny that annoying wind had picked up again. Once I got to work one of the superiors was trying to change shifts with a colleague, haha but he was having none of it. Initially it was relatively quiet, at some points it seemed like the superiors were not even there. There was also not a lot of jobs to get done but when I looked over the weekly task sheet I was actually surprised to see that my colleague didn't finish or even attempt the task set for us. But you know what.. since not much was going on it didn't bother me as it gave me something to do, yes even if I knew it wasn't going to get fully completed. At some point later while I was working on that task I got a call from one of the superiors saying I would need to stay longer today, this again didn't bother me much. But why stay well the reason I had to stay is because it seems the extra work is a lot and so they wanted a initial boost. However what I found really odd was later after still in the very beginning of it all a different superior told I could go home? It's like do these guys want me to stay and help or not!? Anyway I confirmed this and was allowed to go home but the team were still really happy I was able to help in the beginning putting them around 30 minutes ahead. With confirmations I left work, outside the sunshine continued which was nice but that annoying wind was still there and probably slightly worse than this morning. When I got home I started on getting a few chores out of the way as I wanted to possibly get online tonight as I got through most of the updates, and so now I must wait on my friends side which means I could relax. It was likely everybody will on tonight, but that was not the case with only half showing up which was not a problem as they were the ones behind. After that I had a little incident with dinner with a cooked bowl of rise on one hand I opened the oven door to get the rest of the food.. well at this moment I notice a huge spider just about to crawl under my sleeve and so with a jolt and a shake getting it off the arm it started to rain rice.. well after checking myself for being free of the beast I looked to the floor to see my just freshly cooked rice steaming. Not happy at all as I was very hungry and no idea where that spider went, however just under less than half of the rice remained in the bowl and since the rest of the food was safe it was still enough to satisfy my hunger. I brought a new laptop the other day as I will need this for when and if I go to see my father this year as the current one I own is not fit for travelling with, it's so old I'm surprised it's not falling apart. As for the new one I wanted to get through it's setup process but already knew it was likely that wouldn't happen, infact it could of been a few days before I get the chance to set it up, which today again proves this to be true. My plan is to continue what I'm doing to fight the flu as a few weeks ago I swore I was going to start trying everything to shift this as it just seems to keep coming back in a different form. I have been trying mostly natural things rather than going to big pharma. Unfortunately not much luck but at least I'm better now and have to admit I have been getting a bit off track. But I will continue with this the best I can as I feel there maybe some light at the end of the tunnel plus some things have definitely improved. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern", I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
