Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 16/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all.

April 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season wasn't done just yet thankfully. We have had yet another fall from Bitcoin, but like you have witnessed lately there have been many bearish traps for investor to try navigate and so who knows if it's truly over. I only mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow, however not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. Last night I went to sleep around the usual late hour, which was a little disappointing but I was watching a interesting documentary about going on holiday in North Korea and I did also miscalculated my time slightly. When I did go to sleep it was cold but I managed to fall asleep rather quickly even if the rain was falling hard on my window, I was just too tired from work to be disturbed by the rainfall. Still I'm better prepared lately for the night by putting on a blanket over the sheets, surprisingly while it helps it isn't by much but it is enough to get me through the night usually. When I did go to sleep I woke-up only for my scheduled alarm but I rested past it as I was recovering from yesterdays work shift. For about a week I had been dreading to be on the Monday as I would be in charge of all the extra work, not only getting it set but also making sure it's all completed by the night. To add to the problem after a certain time I would receive no help in getting my part completed which was the 2nd thing I was most dreading about the day. Like always when I do this there are always problems, mostly communication ones, like for example nobody told me initially the guy was already waiting to go through the work to set it up, and so when I saw him he started saying "You should be ashamed of yourself" now I actually know this guy and know he is half joking with me, and so I asked him why? He said he had been waiting for 1 hour and a half, well I had only started in the past 25 minutes and so that as nothing to do with me, which I explained to him, but he already knew all this of course haha. I felt like generally I was doing great for time and so tried to get everybody set-up as quickly as possible, during this there were of course a few issues like always but at least everything was set. Once I lost my support later I started to feel like the task was impossible but I got stuck in and I was making up some good time. Unfortunately towards the end there was just too much for one person to get done alone which I felt the entire time, and the last 2 hours occupied me the whole time to try and get it done just the last section which was ridiculous. In the end me and a superior had to run over time by 13 minutes to get it completed, she was not happy. But I tell you what there was a guy that was basically doing nothing for like 1 hour if they just got him to help me for even just 10 minutes this wouldn't of happened. It was a stressing day and so I was very glad when it was over. As for the weather this morning while it's being described as partly sunny that's definitely not been the case, it's mostly just dark clouds which are surely waiting to start their rain dance. It could very well get like yesterday, turn violent, it woke me up with it's strong winds and the hail crushing down on the windows. I started the day later than I wanted but it wasn't a problem as I didn't have work to get in for which I'm very glad about as I'm tired after all that nonsense yesterday. And so I got on with doing some chores, my plan was to try also get to a point where I had time to set-up the new laptop that I brought some days ago. However since I got some time off coming later in the week I think I might actually leave it until then, or in other words I won't stress myself about getting it done today. However I did want to send my father the information he needs from my side which I was able to do after some research. After doing most of the things I needed I went for a shower and later tried contacting a friend online with no luck, and so I went to join everybody else who eventually turned up. I was still having nightmares after I had a little incident with dinner the other night, with a cooked bowl of rise on one hand, I opened the oven door to get out the rest of the food.. well at this moment I notice a big spider just about to crawl under my sleeve and so with a jolt and a shake getting it off my arm it started to rain rice.. well after checking myself for being free of the beast I looked to the floor to see my just freshly cooked rice steaming. Smile was wiped off my face completely as I was very hungry and had no idea where that spider went, however I did spot it tonight but unfortunately couldn't get it out of the house. I brought a new laptop the other day as I will need this for when and if I go to see my father this year as the current one I own is not fit for travelling with, it's so old I'm surprised it's not falling apart. As for the new one I wanted to get through it's setup process but already knew it was likely that wouldn't happen. Infact I knew it could of been a few days before I get the chance to set it up, which today again proves this to be true but I hope like I mentioned I will wait to get it done during my time off from work. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which I'm sure as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the tokens value I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on content creation but on how the site and the token is valued, again not by content but by holding the token, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
