Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 17/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

April 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season wasn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin but like you have likely witnessed there have been many bearish traps for investor to try and navigate so who knows if it's truly over. I only mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow, however not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. But with that this also means that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and small investors. Last night I went to sleep past the usual late hour, which was a little disappointing but got into watching some new releases. When I did go to sleep it was cold but I managed to fall asleep rather quickly, still I'm better prepared lately for the night by putting on a blanket over the sheets, surprisingly while it helps it isn't by much but it is usually enough to get me through the night. When I did go to sleep I woke-up only for my scheduled alarm, however this was set a little earlier as I had to get in soon for work, but I rested past it slightly and so lately I have been giving myself little time to get ready. Luckily the plan is usually to purposely skip breakfast and so this makes it that I still have enough time. As for the weather this morning it as nicely sunny which I didn't expect after the U-turn in weather we had with mostly dark clouds, winds turning violent, and what woke me up the other day was also the hail crushing down on the windows. I got changed and left for work, while it was sunny out the wind was still around, on the way I also got rid of the trash. Once I got to work I got ready for a really long day and expected to have to start with some cover work, this wasn't the case which is good as I didn't want to get tired so early on. I checked the weekly task sheet for the first time this week expecting at least two jobs for me but was glad to see just one. I started working on it but the motivation after my last shift was making it difficult. So instead I carried on with the usual, mostly with the hopes of likely being more motivated after lunch time, well while this worked initially it wasn't for long. The reason why is I started to develop a headache, at first I thought it was because of the bright lighting inside but later in the day I couldn't help but wonder if it's because I had eaten too much during lunch break? Or perhaps I didn't have enough water to drink. Later I checked out the stats for the extra work as there was likely going be no escaping the initial part of it. I was a little annoyed with the results because it was easier than the one I had to deal with myself previously which for about a week I had been dreading. As I would be in charge of all the extra work, not only getting it set but also making sure it's all completed by nightfall. To add to the problem after a certain time I would receive no help in getting my part completed, like always when I do this there were problems, mostly communication ones. I felt like generally I was doing great for time and so tried to get everybody set-up as quickly as possible, during this there were of course a few issues like always but at least everything was set. Once I lost my support later I started to feel like the task was impossible but I got stuck in and I was making up some good time in the process even getting ahead. Unfortunately towards the end there was just too much for one person to get done alone which I felt the entire time, and the last 2 hours completely occupied me just to get the last section done which was ridiculous. In the end me and a superior had to run over time by 13 minutes to get it completed, she was not happy. But I tell you what there was a guy there that was basically doing nothing for like 1 hour if they just got him to help me for even just 10 minutes this wouldn't of happened. I was very glad when it was over but today I managed to help the team be much further ahead compared to what I was left with. During the last two hours of work today I was starting to feel hot which I assumed means the sun continued to stay strong. But instead when I left for work and got out there it was mostly cloudy so I don't know where that heat was coming from. As I made my way home the wind continued to be present and it even started to rain slightly, this made me hurry when I really didn't want to as I hoped some of the fresh air and just being out would help get rid of the headache. This didn't happen and even when I got home and started on a few chores the headache continued. I was still having thoughts after I had a little incident with dinner the other night, yes with a cooked bowl of rise on one hand I opened the oven door to get out the rest of the food.. well in this same moment I noticed a big spider just about to crawl under my sleeve and so with a jolt and a shake getting the spider off my arm it started to rain rice.. well yes after checking myself for being free of the beast I looked to the floor to see my just freshly cooked rice steaming. A smile was turned upside down as I was very hungry and had no idea where that spider went, however I did spot him last night and tonight but unfortunately couldn't get it out of the house just yet argh! I brought a new laptop the other day as I will need this for when and if I go to see my father this year as the current one I own is not fit for travelling with, it's so old I'm surprised it's not falling apart. As for the new one I wanted to get through it's setup process but already knew it was likely that wouldn't happen. Infact I knew it could of been a few days before I get the chance to set it up, which today again proves this to be true but I hope like I mentioned I will wait to get it done during my time off from work. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which I'm sure as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the tokens value I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on content creation but on how the site and the token is valued, again not by content but by holding the token, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
