Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 2/1/2026, under the hood it's been a 9 year project.
We have been posting here since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016, I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller ones.

There as never been a single power-down made on this account for all those active years, our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. Doing such things rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

Casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. We also try to use some of that Steem to buy even more, we are a top 300 Steem investor. That is not to brag but simply proof of work.

Jan 2026- Hello Steem supporters, made it for another day and hopefully more if the body continues the fight. The zombie doctor nonsense continues on, I had a treatment that took me to bouncing between 70% to 85% recovery which is a good place, but can be very depressing as doctors are unwilling to help further. And the nature of this condition is if it's still on-going it will eventually return, be much worse and kill. On my last visit to the doctor he started suggesting the idea of a specialist, so I spent a lot of time gathering information on everything towards going down that route. I reached out to the specialist I want, and recently finalised a meeting. The earliest appointment I was able to bag is now at the end of this January, argh 🙁😭🤬! The long waiting time is very disappointing but it will still be a much faster route compared to dealing with the Zombie Doctors. For now my task is to put together a summery of my symptoms, health concerns, history, medication, documents of tests and questions etc. It's a lot to put together and so thankfully I have time to do this until the meeting, I just hope that work won't get in the way. Once I can actually get this together and if there is still time I will likely be pestering them for any possible patient cancellations in the hope that I can still be seen a little earlier. I have requested the day off from work and waiting on this to be confirmed. People don't understand why I want the day off from work. But it's simple.. not only do I want to make sure I can make the meeting but I also want to be fully present at the appointment without being already drained from being at work.

Today it was back to the early morning shifts, initially I thought my least favourite superior was late for once but instead it was the team leader who I was working with this shift. This came at a surprise to me, but I guess it makes sense none of the superiors want to make it in for what might be their first day of work in 2026. I thought with her being it this should make for a non stressful shift. Well I was wrong, there was more work than I had expected. Still manageable but what annoyed me most was that my least favourite superior still turned up over an hour to her actual shift time. She of course used the excuse of getting her daughter into work, argh and while I agree that it does make sense it still doesn't mean she won't show up early for every other shift. I said good morning to her but like usual she ignores me and just barks a question at me about work which had nothing to do with me. Of course I got a displeased look when I kind of snapped back with I don't know the answer to her question but would look into it. Another thing that annoyed me is when leaving there was suddenly extra staff, it's like why do I have to do all these jobs on my own but those who come in later who don't have the pressure of getting these done suddenly get the support I needed earlier argh. I was surprised that the least favourite superior was actually asking me what she should order the to do? I honestly don't believe this is anything to do with giving me respect that I would know but more likely because she's got no clue what to get them to do.

Anyway I rushed home after because it was freezing and I had lots to get done at home. Mostly more cleaning of the bathroom, I'm surprised I didn't nap today but I started to feel real tired. I spent some of my free working on the summery for the specialist. I went online to meet with friends since they still continue on holiday but mostly not many showed up. Being forced to go down the specialist route is going to make this all be much worse "cost wise" but honestly it seems to be my only option now argh🙁. I'm also not happy with the control freak authorities continuing to make it difficult to get hold on of any Steem. They are also having a total take-over of the internet under the guise of protecting children from harmful content. We need the tools to regain back some of our dam privacy, especially online, and so if anybody knows of a truly free VPN let me know in the comments below, you could win a upvote from me. It's been a real shame to see Steemit having a lot of problems again with content not being found. I'm sure around this time last year we had the same problems. Starting the new year at first it seemed the issues had finally been fixed but sadly it continues, and this is making the Steemit experience frustrating rather than fun. I honestly think it's one of the worse times in the year to be having site problems, it's when I feel people are trying to make the most contact with each other and wanting to share much of what they are doing over the festive period.
