Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 2/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all.

April 2024-Happy Easter folks and new month, Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so it may seem like the high season isn't done just yet, thankfully. However it did drastically fall which many experts claim is just another price correction. I only mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow, strangely however not a lot of movement this time round from our own token compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as some would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, while that was something to celebrate Steem as done so much better in the past, it's struggling to make $0.38. Last night I went to sleep much earlier than the usual late hour, this was because of feeling so unwell. When I did go to sleep it was cold which fuelling that is being unwell but I'm better prepared for it by putting on a blanket over the sheets. Surprisingly while this does help it isn't by much but it seems to be enough to get me through the night. When I did go to sleep I didn't wake-up until late again the following day, while it wasn't as crazy comparing the 15 o'clock wake-up it was still pretty late. However on that day unfortunately I woke up due to a disturbance as one of our cat's died around 7 in morning of natural causes. But as for today I was probably awake due to finally having enough sleep but the thing is I know that I'm going to get super tired very easily and so almost don't see point of getting out of bed. Eventually I got out of bed it was still tough, I turned of my scheduled alarm and done a few things. Guess I felt a little better but not by enough to validate all this sleeping, I felt more like I have gone from having a flu to a cold which I hope means I'm getting better. As for the weather this morning at least things were looking brighter with lots of sun shine and little cloud, I'm just annoyed that I don't feel that much better to enjoy it, but perhaps it will be a encouragement, they also mentioned on the weather temperatures would start rising. I got what chores I could get done which were not much with such a lack of energy, and I will be honest with you within about two hours I felt so tired again that I climbed back to bed and was sleeping until four in the afternoon! I couldn't believe it yet another day where I spent most of the day sleeping and still not really much of a improvement. I feel like I haven't been fully well for a few months now, like sometime after New Years Eve, not the first time it's happened I think. But a few days ago was definitely the worst in a while as I had to battle with flu like symptoms of ache and pains that put me bed bound for the day. And so the past two weeks I got annoyed and said I was going to start trying everything to shift this as it just seem to keep coming back in different form. I have been trying mostly natural things rather than going to big pharma and unfortunately nothing much seems to be happening. What else annoyed me was I received the notice from work that my requested time off for the event with friends had been rejected which is not very pleasing at all, and I'm yet to tell this to my friends. And so I won't be organising it myself this year like I usually do but might still see if at the time I can somehow at least attend part of it. As you can imagine with sleeping so much today I didn't have work to be in for thankfully, it was at this point I went to eat something for the day. Soon after some food the sun had gone and it did start to rain, I spent the rest of the evening just watching things and hoping to get well. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern", I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
