Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 26/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to forgetting I had to do so many things due to the event tomorrow. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, I think some of it was worry of a recent crime report from a friend of mine in the area we will be after the event along with some other things. I woke-up 1 hour to my scheduled alarm, this was annoying considering how much sleep I needed for the day ahead. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired, because usually I'm not going to sleep early enough and this morning it felt the same. But there was no time to rest any longer as I had to get to the meeting spot with friends to start heading for the event but some turned up earlier. And so I had to rush out to meet them and after spent the rest of the day at the event. As for Steemit.com 📊 the "Community Curators" for November as now opened up it's applications process. I was also shocked to discover that our TRX wallets on Steemit.com have disappeared, and this was a long with all the funds it had in there. I learnt that the TRX distribution code has been removed from the wallet by the Steemit developers. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from the rewards "which I'm glad was fixed" but I think removing the TRX wallet from the SteemitWallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet as a whole. I assumed that the only way to recover the funds is to make a new tron account with TronLink and then if possible adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. This already seems confirmed by others but regardless I still think we should keep the TRX wallet functional, I think it's important to repeat this because some users are going to be wondering what the hell is going on. Also if you agree with me keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking to for the return the TRX Wallet on Steemit TRXWallet. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
