Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 28/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024-Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to a morning shift tomorrow that I wanted rest for. Not only was it to be a long shift but I was feeling a bit unwell with a headache. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, however I did wake-up a few hours before my alarm because of a stomach ache, this is perhaps due to suddenly eating more because of Christmas and all the sweet food but eventually I fell asleep for 5 minutes. I woke-up to my scheduled alarm which was annoying. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was bright, but the sky was still mostly cloudy, temperature wise it was cold right after getting out of bed. Regardless it was still a earlier start than usual because I had work to be in for soon. Like this I had very little time for chores in the morning. For our new years eve plans I finally got the time needed for securing our seating and I'm glad with the results because it should give me and my friends enough time to get some food before heading into the venue. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was relatively quiet out still which was nice, the slight wind made it a little uncomfortable but the fresh air made me feel a bit better of my stomach. When I got to work things seemed fine but it didn't take long at all for the work flow and it was just non-stop to the point I was getting very annoyed. One of the superiors said she had two jobs for me which worried me but they were very simple and easy. It would of likely taken me 20 to 25 minutes for these two tasks but instead it took me almost the entire shift to get them done. I was feeling overwhelmed and wondered if this is why they gave me this as a long shift in particular. However what I found shocking is that regardless of barely having a moment to stop the superiors decided that I could go home earlier because there was just not enough work to go around. I found that statement to be absurd and it just proves how out of touch these people can be sometimes. While that sounds like a good result considering how I was feeling it's still been without doubt the worst year ever for making any money around Christmas time and so I could of done with the continued work. With escaping work early I took this opportunity to look for some possible future purchases in a supermarket that I often over-look. After that I was considering to look around another place but I just felt too cold and unwell to continue so decided to head home. While it was still light out there was no doubt on the way home that it had turned into a very cold evening. Once I got home I got started with some chores but this was made difficult by how I was feeling. Eventually it was almost time for me to meet with friends online and by that time I was still feeling cold. I decided to get into bed to try and warm up but doing this like I expected made me nearly fall asleep. I got online about 20 minutes late, and unfortunately due to some difficulties there was not much progress. Strangely during this I started to feel a little better but worse again as we started to finish up, I was considering doing a full day's fast to see if it would help but in the end I still ate but a lot less. As for the quick work-outs I have finished the 2 weeks of extra rest and so hope to try and get one done after missing 33 days but with feeling like this it will likely continue to be on hold for longer. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked in with my father, then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 you can expect new categories for the STEEMIT AWARDS so check out that blog post. At least Steem as been moving away from the dreaded middle ground, even if not the direction we all wanted. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
