Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 3/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin but likely you have also witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I only really mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However with that it also means that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly because of some late night shopping. Firstly for myself I was searching for a emergency spare phone that I already had my eye on but the company as had it not in stock for a week and now have changed their product line, they also made the one I originally wanted much more expensive for whatever reason. Next I was looking for a cheap travel kettle but this is for my friend who will pay me back if I find anything, which I did in the end. When I did go to rest it was easy to fall asleep, unfortunately after 3 nights of not needed anything extra to keep warm yesterday due to the bad weather the cold had returned making it difficult to fall asleep again. While I didn't use the blanket last night I should of done so as it was definitely needed, but I did worry about getting too warm in the middle of the night. When I did go to sleep I didn't wake-up until my scheduled alarm, which is good so that I didn't waste any time not getting rest properly. I then woke-up to my alarm ringing which I did rest for way longer past it argh. The alarm was already set for later than usual as I want to make sure I get enough sleep so as to not get unwell. I could of easily rested for longer but I had things I wanted to get done. As for the weather this morning it continued on from yesterday where it was to no surprise since the storm yesterday night making it a very gloomy, dark morning, the only difference is it was already raining. While it was a late start to the day this was not much of a problem as I didn't have work until later, still I wanted to get done some basic chores before having to leave. I also went on the hunt for some Steem yesterday which I managed to half complete, this was not only due to time retrains but the price also started to go up, I wanted this completed today but again no time. Overall for the morning while I didn't get everything I wanted done it was another productive one. I still feel like I have a fire test at work to get completed as when I was last in and passed the newest superiors work notes I noticed a check-list with my name on it, seems like I probably had to do the usual fire test. Thinking about it I couldn't remember when was the last time we had fire tests, I was trying to remember what were the questions and answers and was struggling haha. It wasn't long after that I spotted her chasing me down and it was indeed for a test but not the fire safety one, instead it was a test on some documentation. On my way to work I also took the trash with me to dispose, it was ever so slightly raining which didn't bother me much, what did was the wind. When I arrived to work I spotted a colleague who I have not seen in a long time she's relatively new and infact I thought she may have quit as I had not seen her in so long. I guess likely on holiday as many colleagues have been taking them, its just a little funny to see such a small woman come out of such a large white van, I assume it belongs to the husband, father or some other family member that drops her off. When I got started my boss was talking about a promotion, and we have a shirt to wear to celebrate it, so he asked me if I wanted a shirt? I said sure, I mean it's free clothes and they haven't done anything like this in ages so why not. I saw the colleague who deals with the extra work "which only means" it will be ready soon.. and there was me hoping to not deal with it this shift. I still got one section on the weekly task sheet to complete and probably could of done some of it on this shift.. well if I knew the extra work was only going to be ready as late as it was. By the time I left enough was done I think to give the team a good chance of getting it completed by tonight. When I left work I expected the weather to be horrible but it wasn't raining and neither too windy, and so with that I made my way to get the shopping done for my friend. After the shopping which was actually quicker than I expected I made my way home. I done some remaining chores which I thought wasn't going to give me any time to get online with friends but also I was initially not in the mood. But since the day was going well I decided to go see who was on and if I was lucky everybody would be there. This was not the case but no problem as like this other can catch-up. Still waiting to get a reply from my friend so that everybody can more or less make their final decisions about the event coming next month. However I should actually find out soon about my own situation putting it to the point that it won't be even worth knowing what he plans to do as he is leaving it too late. And so I wait to know more on whether or not I can attend any of the event days with a organic day off from work. I must admit it's not looking good following the structure and pattern I have been seeing lately. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which I'm sure as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the tokens value I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on content creation but on how the site and the token is valued, again not by content but by holding the token, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
